Hi Y'all! I just wanted to report back really quick, and say THANK YOU so much! I could not possibly have imagined just how well the Half Evil would work for fueling a 24 hour Time Trial Effort. .. I literally replaced every single gel, cookie, chip, and gummy worm with Half Evil, and never even approached a bonk or craved solid food at all for the ENTIRE thing. Oh, and I also supplemented my pre-race 36-hour carb load with Half Evil, which worked GREAT! The race was around a 26.4-mile HILLY loop, and each lap at race pace was between ~1h20m and ~1h25m. I fueled with 1 x 32 oz Bottle of Half Evil (3 scoops) + 1 x 24 oz bottle w/ a Nuun Electrolyte Tab each lap, for a total of 333 calories and 82 Carbs (+ Amino Acids) every ~hour and a half. I alternated lemonade and black cherry so that I didn't over-caffeinate or experience the diuretic effects of too much caffeine. I burned ~13,000 calories and took in ~6,000 calories and ~1,175g Carbs over the course of the 24-hour race. I never had a single cramp. I never even approached a nutrition bonk. I never felt under fueled. I never felt hungry. I never got sick of the taste, and didn't experience "carb gut" or "gut rot". How easy was that!?! Seriously - MIND BLOWN! Oh, and I guess I should mention. . . I won the National Championship Title, set a new overall course record (men/women), and oh yeah. . I beat all of the guys too 😈. Best of all, I crossed the finish line with a smile on my face, and an unbelievable sense of accomplishment.
